Project Info
This small public garden, tucked away off the Inner Circle at Regents Park, was originally designed by Robert Weir Schultz in the early 1890s as an arts and crafts garden for St Johns Villa. David McQuitty was in charge of the refurbishment of this garden, as part a long term Royal Parks commission. Sympathetic adaptations had to be made to the original design to take account of land losses and changing usage. The new planting established quickly and the gardens form a luxuriant oasis in the heart of the city.Images
